Project Overview

Hospital bioinformatician's are working with large amounts of data for each project requested. At times this can mean several GB each, which proved difficult when sending to the Customers, unless it was via a pendrive or specific ftp bridges. This means poor security and zero version control of files.

The Challenge

To have everything on the same app. On one hand we needed to follow the Hospital's security requirements of ensuring that the app was on their own server, had a strong login, and a log of every person since it's logged, both hospital technician and customers. On the other hand make a fresh and easy to use App with lots of automation processes.

The Approach & Solution

Designed & developed from scratch to fit 100% of the requirements. 3x UI: IT's team; Bio-informatician team and Customer/clients. Every single page is tightly controlled in terms of who can create, update and delete files, as well as who can obtain and download them locally. With all that said, it is a must to develop an Admin panel with 'User Manager', 'Notification Manager', 'Mailing Manager', 'Log Manager', 'IP's Manager', 'Backup Manager', 'Statistics' and much, much more...

Deploy and app on own physical hospital's servers was a bit knightmare because of its extremely cautious enviroment in order to preserve patient's health data.
